Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know!
How do I reserve my date?
First, message us on our Contact Page to check availability and share your wedding details. We’ll give you a quick call to discuss your plans and answer any questions.
Next, we’ll send you the contract and invoice. If anything needs adjusting, just let us know! We use HoneyBook for easy online booking, where you can sign the contract and make payments.
Your date is secured once we receive a $500 non-refundable retainer (which goes towards your total payment) and the signed contract. We book on a first-come, first-served basis, so don't wait—popular dates fill up fast!

How far in advance should I book your services?
Popular wedding months in SC, like March-June and September-December, book up quickly. If you're thinking about videography, we recommend booking early—most brides reserve 6 months to 1.5 years in advance. However, we still have some dates available within 6 months! To ensure we can give each couple our full attention, we limit our availability to avoid overbooking.
If you are interested, just send us an inquiry on our Contact page!

Can I help pick the music for the video?
Fire and Moon Videography covers the cost of legally licensed music for your Highlight Film to ensure that we can share your video on social media without any issues or the risk of your music being flagged or muted. While you might not recognize the song initially, most couples end up loving their chosen track. If you don't feel connected to the song(s) selected, you can request a different one! Additionally, we offer "Mini Films" (Instagram & Facebook Reels), which are condensed versions of your Highlight Film. These 90-second clips are perfect for sharing on social media, and they allow you to choose your favorite song for your Reel!

Can I review the video before it’s finalized?
Of course! We always provide the client with the first viewing of their wedding video. If any clips need adjustments or changes before posting, simply let us know.
Are you insured?
Yes, we are! All of your wedding vendors should be as well. We can provide you with the Certificate of Insurance upon request.
Can I divide up my payments?
Absolutely! Our contract and invoice offer the option for month-to-month payments, which is completely optional. As long as your retainer is paid, you can make payments OR skip them, as long as the full balance is paid by the day before the wedding!
